When you close a project in Ailo, all open emails/chats linked to that project are automatically closed. This is because closing a project marks all actions within it as complete, preventing duplicate work being done on threads that have already been resolved.
What about replies after closure?
If someone sends a new message on an email/chat that was auto-closed by a project closure, it will automatically reopen. Messages are never lost — the thread comes back into view as soon as a new message arrives, and you can action it as normal.
For example, if an investor replies to an inspection email on 2 February, and the project is closed on 3 February, the email closes with it. If the investor sends another reply, the email reopens automatically.
Tips
- Before closing a project, check for any open emails/chats with recent activity to make sure nothing needs immediate attention.
- Look for the system indicator at the end of a thread to see if it was auto-closed by a project closure.
