Paying rent and bills with PayID or bank transfer

If your agency has access, you can pay your rent and bills from your own banking app using PayID or bank transfer. It's free.

How to pay

  1. In the Ailo app, start a rent or bill payment. Next to the payment method, tap Change, then select PayID & bank transfer. You can also find your details any time under Profile > Payment methods > PayID & bank transfer.

  2. On Select payment method, choose one:

    • PayID: transfer using an @ailo.io email address
    • Bank transfer: transfer using a BSB and account number

  3. Copy the details into your banking app or internet banking.

    • PayID: all Ailo PayIDs use the @ailo.io domain.
    • Bank transfer: enter Ailo Pay as the account name.

  4. Before you confirm, check the name your banking app shows. It should say Ailo Pay or Ailo Pay Pty Ltd.

Paying a bill

When you pay a bill by PayID or bank transfer:

  1. Use the bill's invoice number as the payment reference.
  2. Make a separate payment for each bill.
  3. Follow the same steps listed above. 

If the name doesn't match

Don't make the payment. Check the details with your property manager first.

Keep your payment details safe

Don't share your details with anyone or use them for anything other than making payments related to your rental tenancy.
