Ailo uses New Payments Platform (NPP) technology to deliver on the spot transfers from your Ailo wallet to your bank account; it is a fast, simple and secure way to move money.
It was developed as part of a major banking industry initiative in Australia, and currently has more than 100 financial institutions connected.
With NPP, transfers from your Ailo wallet will typically be available in your bank account on the day that the transfer is initiated. To see which banks offer NPP services, click here.
How could a NPP funds transfer fail?
NPP failures can occur for two reasons:
- The recipient bank does not support NPP (some banks are still working on adopting this technology - click here to find out if a particular bank is NPP compatible or not)
- The recipient bank account is not NPP compatible (some banks do not allow certain bank account types such as an offset account to receive funds via NPP)
