Some payments in Ailo will be impacted by public holidays on:
Monday 25 December — Christmas Day public holiday;
Tuesday 26 December — Boxing Day public holiday; and
Monday 1 January — New Year’s Day public holiday.

On these dates, bank account transactions will not be processed or cleared by any financial institutions.
- Rent payments made using credit or debit cards will not be affected.
- Transfers to Investors from Ailo portfolio wallets will not be affected (as long as the recipient’s financial institution is NPP compatible).

How does this impact property investors?
Rent paid from a bank account using direct debit will be delayed on the following dates:
- Payments between 6pm AEDT Wednesday, 20 December and Tuesday, 26 December will take up to two additional days to clear.

Payments between 6pm AEDT Wednesday, 27 December and Monday, 1 January will take one additional day to clear.

Trust accounting transactions managed in Ailo will also be impacted by public holidays:
- Transactions receipted and reconciled between 3pm AEDT on Wednesday, 20 December and Tuesday, 26 December will take up to two additional days to clear in Ailo.

Transactions receipted and reconciled between 3pm AEDT on Wednesday, 27 December and Monday, 1 January will take one additional day to clear in Ailo.

Bill payments will also be delayed on the following dates:
- All bill payments between 6pm AEDT Thursday, 21 December and Tuesday, 26 December will take up to two additional days to be paid into the biller's bank account.

How does this impact Renters?
- Rent paid from a bank account using direct debit between 6pm AEDT on Thursday, 21 December and Tuesday, 26 December will register in Ailo but will take up to two additional days to be debited from the bank account.
- Rent paid from a bank account using direct debit between 6pm AEDT on Thursday, 28 December and Monday, 1 January will register in Ailo but will take one additional day to be debited from the bank account.
- Renters who use direct debit will need to keep enough money in their bank account during this time to cover rent payments. Rent payments made using credit or debit cards will not be affected.
